Support CURE Projects
Together we can facilitate a change...

The present document describes the current projects which CURE plans to take-up in the year 2005. CURE has successfully implemented several projects in the past.

As for any social service organisation, CURE also requires funds for implementation of different projects. In this regard, the present document also cites the the budget for each project. One can finance a particular project or even send in independent donations.

  • CURE Bookmarks : This year CURE plans to print 1000 bookmarks and distribute them across bookshops and libraries throughout India in order to target the vast number of people who read books and visit bookstores. This ingenious project is in the pipeline and we need your support to make it a success.
    Costing: Rs. 1500 (Printing and Distribution)

  • CURE Periodical 2006: After successfully publishing and distributing 1000 CURE newsletters in the year 2004 & 2005, CURE aims to continue this effort in the year 2006 with latest news, analysis catering to a fresh set of audience. (Newsletter 2005 printed!)
    Costing:
    4000: 4*1000, Printing Cost of thousand newsletters
    2000: Distribution Cost
    Total : Rs. 6000

  • CURE Slogan Stickers : CURE stickers containing slogans to sensitize students about ragging shall be printed and distributed. These stickers shall be put on merchandise of companies working in the education sector and stationary used in festivals, etc. in colleges. CURE has already established contacts with some companies and colleges in this regard. Already Implemented, 1500 slogan stickers printed and 550 distributed (Updated, May 2005)
    Costing: Rs. 1000 (Printing and Distribution)

  • CURE webspace: CURE has bought webspace for the year 2005-2006. We need funds in order to continue this activity beyond 2006. Also the site doesn't get listed through Google India, where many interested individuals (victims/volunteers) are unable to know about the existence of this organisation.
    Costing: Rs. 2000 for one year (for a server with Indian IP Address)

  • CURE Popular campaign : CURE popular campaign to begin during the ragging season, May-September shall see a plethora of activities. CURE shall be printing slogans against ragging in National Dailies, sending out newsletters far and wide, organising essay competition on ragging, distribute t-shirts with CURE slogans to students. The budgetary of this activity is yet to be worked out. This massive campaign would be the first of its type campaign in the Education sector.

  • CURE Counseling to victims : The plan and expenses of this innovative project of CURE shall soon be put on site.

  • Any individual or organisation who is convinced about any of these projects and would like to fund them should send in their queries, apprehensions or proposals without hesitation to support@noragging.com

  • The party giving funding for a specific activity shall be duly acknowledged on the website plus could have an advertisement in any printed document released for the activity.
