Participate in CURE Activities
Together we can strengthen the CURE...

This is how YOU can contribute, this is how YOU can take a stand and let it be known to the world. This is a medium for you to take out your anger against this blatant violation of human rights. The following is a list of activities currently being undertaken by CURE members.

These are some ways in which YOU can express solidarity with CURE and its mission. These are only recommendatory in nature... in case you have other ideas through which you can help CURE, do feel free to write in to participate@noragging.com

  • Organise a CURE Slogan/Essay Writing competition in your college
Send an email to cure@noragging.com and we will send the material to you. The idea is simple. Take up the initiative to organise a short essay writting competition on ragging in your college. We will help you with the essay title and other details to be put on the poster to be put on all notice boards on your college. CURE will sponsor the cash prizes and miscellaneous expenses will be reimbursed.

  • Distribution of CURE merchandise including Bookmarks, Stickers etc.
Send an email to cure@noragging.com and we will send the material to you. You can distribute them to people and friends and help get the word across. Our merchandise has been put up on workshop material all across the country and will soon find place in bookshops all across the country.

  • Distribution of CURE Newsletters
In 2004, 1000 copies of the CURE newsletter were distributed all across the country inc. Delhi, Bangalore, Bombay, Aligarh, Pune, Chennai, etc. The CURE newsletter for 2005 is out -- the content is much more potent and depth of research shows. We are banking on your support for the distribution. newsletter@noragging.com

  • Share your experiences of being ragged
Most of us who have been through college have been ragged. This is the forum where you can recount those days... whether fun or traumatic, this is the place where you can speak out about it. Note that if ragging was fun for you, then you should surely write to us since it will help us to design methodologies which lead to a positive interaction which is fun for both seniors and freshers. editor@noragging.com

  • Write an article detailing your thoughts, views and ideas on ragging and related issues
What do you THINK about ragging? What do you FEEL about ragging? All that you ever wanted to write about... Issues may range from college life, hostel life, to the social issues which may be catalysing this wide spread way of fresher-senior introduction.

  • Talk to your college going children, friends and/or relatives about their ragging experiences
The issues touches you in more ways than you would have ever imagined. Do listen to the ragging experiences of your near & dear ones and their stories or the hesitation to talk about it will say it all.

  • Join the CURE mailing list and remain updated on the latest ragging related news and CURE activities join@noragging.com

  • If you are convinced enough, you may also consider supporting CURE financially

  • Take out time (say 1 hour) every week, when you can devote time to any CURE activity

  • ...
